Pescara, 22 November 2024 – Winner of the Hackathon Prize Visionaria 2024 were the guys of Innova Team: Pietro Campanella; Debora Librone; Meksime Bekteshi; Francesca D’Agostino; Serena Bascelli; Marianna Ridolfi.
At the heart of the competition was the need expressed by the multinational company for the products of the person Fater Spa, based in Pescara, which provided for a solution, based on the use of artificial intelligence models, for the creation of promotional materials for the presentation of products to consumers.
What colours and formats to use, how and where to place the advertising material inside the points of sale was not an easy requirement to solve. Twenty-one young people, including startuppers, aspiring entrepreneurs and students from the universities of Chieti Pescara, L’Aquila and Teramo, took part in these three days and immediately responded to the call from the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce and its Development Agency. Melting Pro and BePeople, professional companies in the world of technologies and startups, participated as tutors, with Lucia Zappacosta, Arnaldo Guido, Angelo Bucci, Antonio Di Cecco, Federica Pescara, Silvia Menduni and Matteo Fusco. To decide, instead, the winners, who won the cash prize of two thousand euros, were: Enrico Marramiero (president of the jury), Luciana Ferrone, Piercarmine Tilli, Daniele Giangiulli, Rita Belelli and Fabio Pistilli and Giberto Grasso, from Fater.
“These three days have made us discover the point of view of young people on the potential of artificial intelligence used as a tool to support specific business activities such as research. A short and intense journey that has enriched everyone and gives us the opportunity to reflect on the many ideas that have emerged” – explains Francesca Mazzoni dital and sales business analyst manager at Fater.
The announcement of the winners of the hackathon closed the fourth edition of Visionaria, the Adriatic Forum dedicated to innovation, energy transition and sustainability, promoted by the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce and the Development Agency, which today hosted, for the second consecutive year, the stage of the national road show of SMAU, the largest Italian start-up accelerator. Another award rewarded the area’s ability to innovate with the prize awarded by SMAU to the Marina di Pescara marina for the use of sustainable technologies dedicated to the distribution of electricity and water services to boaters.
<<This edition – concluded President Strever with satisfaction – exceeded all expectations. The attendance has increased fivefold compared to the previous year, rewarding the work behind this event, which sees the Chamber of Commerce and Development Agency staff constantly engaged in building an innovation ecosystem capable of bringing together young companies and institutions on key competitiveness issues.
Our goal is to continue on this path by consolidating the partnership with the Abruzzo Region, with the national chamber system and Smau. Visionaria It is not just an event, it is a movement towards the future in which to return to being protagonists.
