awareness of energy consumption.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the strategic alliance <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with Metamer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, participants will be presented with a challenge to design a product or service <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that allows us to <\/span><b>monitor real time energy consumption, promptly report opportunities for energy efficiency and disseminate advice on the efficiency of your energy consumption<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hackathon will be an opportunity to develop its project with the support of experienced mentors, present during the event. An engaging experience to meet people who share the same passion for design, design, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0innovative services, green economy and energy efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation is open both to groups already trained during registration (from a minimum of four to a maximum of six people) and to individuals who, after registering as such, will be grouped into working teams by the event staff on the basis of the personal skills indicated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winning project, chosen and decreed by the jury, will win a prize<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EUR 2,000,00, put up for grabs by the Chamber of Commerce Chieti Pescara.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All participants will also have the opportunity to participate in the selection to attend the course of creative entrepreneurship organised by Melting Pro and Metro Olografix within the project \u201cRefurbish Ninja, recycling technology for a sustainable future\u201d and for the path \u201cSprint \u2014 business models for aspiring entrepreneurs\u201d promoted by the Development Agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>1. PROMOTER<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visionaria 2022, hereinafter \u201cHackathon\u201d, is conceived and promoted by the Chamber of Commerce Chieti Pescara, based in Chieti, Largo G.B. Vico 3, in collaboration with the PID, Punto Impresa Digitale, Agency of Development \u2014 Special Company of the Chamber of Commerce Chieti Pescara, Metamer and with the support of Metro Olografix and Melting Pro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>2. OBJECTIVES AND RECIPIENTS<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hackathon is open to those interested in the issues of respect for the environment, innovation, circular economy, product and service design, who bring with it an idea of an interesting process to be developed in the context of the competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The challenge of this second edition is the application of a virtuous system for monitoring consumption, energy efficiency and education to reduce waste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>solution required is <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a feasibility study or a technical solution for Metamer and a business model that takes into account the protection of the environment with a social and economic impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cNice to have\u201d added value: in a context of market criticalness and economic stress for households due to international tensions and the current macroeconomic framework, Metamer would like to provide its customers with a monitoring solution. <\/b><b><i>real time<\/i><\/b><b> of their consumption, able to make them always aware, simultaneously providing reports on malfunctions and waste of appliances in order to improve their energy needs.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hackathon is aimed at startuppers, entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, developers, communication experts, programmers, data analysts, artists, creatives and all those professionals who, following the required profiles, can contribute to the development of a project in line with the data objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in the Hackathon is free of charge and is reserved for natural persons of equal or supe age<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I'm 15 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Excluded from participation are all employees and\/or collaborators of Metamer, CAMERA DI COMMERCIO CHIETI PESCARA, AGENZIA DI DEVILUPPO DELLE COMMERCIO CHIETI PESCARA, MELTING PRO, METRO Olografix.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>3. RULES OF PARTICIPATION AND ADMISSION CRITERIA<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.1 REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in the Hackathon is completely free and will be allowed to a maximum of 6 working groups consisting of a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The six groups will be selected from those already composed at the time of submission of the application (startups\/enterprises\/study groups pre-established) or formed by individual applications that the organisation reserves the right to aggregate according to the requirements set out in point 4.3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To register for the Hackathon you must register the Team or the individual by filling in the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on-line registration form on the site <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forumvisionaria.it\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.forumvisionaria.it<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from 16.00 p.m. <\/span><b>10 November 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and by 12:00 p.m. <strong>20<\/strong><\/span><b>\u00a0November 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, by entering all the requested data, with the indication of personal data, acceptance of the Regulation and the granting of consent to the processing of data <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">personal and the use of images and videos by the organisation of the event that will be realised during the initiative<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each member is aware that the personal information provided when registering on the site is true and that any decision taken by the organisation of the Hackathon will be unconditionally accepted. The names of the chosen Teams must not in any way refer to companies or trademarks that are not owned by them or use expressions that incite violence, discrimination, obscenity and\/or defamation, under penalty of exclusion of the Team from the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Teams cannot be modified during the competition and the abandonment of even a single member will be evaluated by the Jury for a possible exclusion of the Team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By accepting these Rules and participating in the Hackathon, each participant undertakes for the duration of the competition to use the venues in which the competition will take place, as well as any materials and equipment made available by the organisation, with the utmost care and diligence and to strictly comply with the rules of safety and conduct provided by the Chamber of Commerce and to be liable for any damage caused to persons or property.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants in the Hackathon acknowledge that the participation is free of charge and that it does not give rise to any right to receive compensation, in any way, and\/or reimbursement of any expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>5. THE CHALLENGE<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The teams admitted will be required to design, during the duration of the competition, a product or service for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">optimise the consumption of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">electricity and gas. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Metamer will provide all the necessary features in the initial brief and during the course of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>6. THE JURY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The work carried out by the teams for the competition will be evaluated and judged by 5 members appointed by the Chamber of Commerce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>7. THE HACKATHON<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>7.1 DEVELOPMENT OF THE EVENT<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hackathon will start at 10 a.m. on November 21, 2022 and end at 10:00 p.m. on day 24.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">November 2022. The delivery of the mock-up and presentation is scheduled for 18.30 on 23 November, while the presentation of the projects to the public will take place on 24 November from 12.00 to 13.00. At 13:30 p.m. the winning team will be announced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After training the Teams, participants will devote themselves to the definition and development of projects with the aim of creating a presentation to be illustrated to the company for their evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The use of any technology will be allowed. Participants will work with their own laptop\/device and other hardware equipment they deem necessary <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">al<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">development and design of the elaborate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Teams will have at their disposal a group of mentors with the task of following and helping the Teams to define the design idea and support the work, during all the hours of the competition, in order to realise the mock-up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evaluation of the project is linked to the participation of the members of the Team as provided for in Article 4.4 of these Rules.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon expiry of the duration of the competition, each Team must submit its own draft according to the instructions provided by the organisation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hackathon organisation will provide all participants with free Wi-Fi connectivity and lunch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>For those who are unable to return to their domicile due to the distance from the location of the hackathon, can be requested at hackathon@chpe.camcom.it the hotel accommodation (double rooms are provided)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>7.2 TECHNICAL SCENARIO<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be able to use the resources provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Metamer such as images, photos, texts, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>7.3 PRESENTATION, EVALUATION AND AWARDS<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The jury will analyse and evaluate, in its exclusive and unquestionable judgment, all works presented by the Teams regarding the validity of the ideas and the innovative strength of the projects presented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project will have to be provided on a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">business model canvas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provided by the organisation and shall <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">be presented before the award ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evaluation criteria:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Level of maturation of know-how (considering the skills and competences present)\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Effectiveness of the working team (with particular attention to multidisciplinary integration)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Effectiveness of presentation skills (with a focus on competitive and critical factors)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to digitise<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thinking outside the box<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Design thinking<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For each criterion, each member of the committee will assign, at the end of each submission, a vote from 0 to 10 that will help determine the position of the Team in the ranking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winner of the Hackathon will be the first Team to score the highest. In case of equal merit, a new vote will be carried out between them until a separate winning team is identified.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first classified team will receive as recognition of its merit the validation by the company itself that will later decide whether to make the idea <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">available and usable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winning project, chosen and decreed by the jury, will win a prize<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EUR 2,000,00, put up for grabs by the Chamber of Commerce Chieti Pescara.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All participants will also have the opportunity to participate in the selection to attend the course of creative entrepreneurship organised by Melting Pro and Metro Olografix within the project \u201cRefurbish Ninja, recycling technology for a sustainable future\u201d and for the path \u201cSprint \u2014 business models for aspiring entrepreneurs\u201d promoted by the Development Agency<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, MANLEVE AND WARRANTIES<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each Participant shall ensure that the project developed:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> does not contain any trademark, logo or other element protected by industrial property rights or copyright owned by third parties, or that, where third party rights exist, the participant has previously acquired all the necessary authorisations and licenses from the relevant holder;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> does not infringe any other third party\u2019s rights, including, but not limited to, patents, industrial secrets, rights arising from contracts or licenses, rights of publicity or privacy rights, moral rights or any other right worthy of protection;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is not the subject of a contract with third parties;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contains no defamatory content, representation, outrageous consideration or any other content that could damage the name, honor or reputation of the Chamber of Commerce or any other person or company;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contains no threat or content intended to intimidate, harass, or mistreat a person\u2019s private life;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> it does not constitute a violation of applicable laws and does not contain content that encourages unlawful conduct.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, each Participant:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> declares that, in the event that their team is the first ranked, the<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the project <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">presented <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">it will be made available and usable, experimentally and exclusively, at Metamer<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">acknowledges that each project submitted and\/or carried out is the property of the Team that assumes the burden and full responsibility for the protection of the same and the inventive and\/or original aspects through the means for this purpose prepared by the law (registration, patent or similar, as applicable);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">acknowledges that any publication by Metamer or the Chamber of Commerce of the project on websites and social networks will result in visibility to the public and that Metamer and Chamber of Commerce assume no responsibility in case of use and\/or abuse of the idea and\/or possible development and realisation of the same and\/or the project related to it by anyone who had become aware of it through access to websites and social networks, giving up for the effect to make any claim for damages and\/or compensation against Metamer or Chamber of Commerce for any reason, reason and\/or cause<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>9. IMAGE RIGHTS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The participants authorise the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce to process personal data and to use the images and videos made during the initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>10. CODE OF CONDUCT<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who do not comply with the provisions of these Regulations and those who, through fraudulent or unauthorised manoeuvres, hinder and\/or attempt to alter the proper functioning of the rewarding mechanism and, in any case, to compromise the success of the entire event, will be excluded and removed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, participants undertake to observe these simple rules of conduct:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">respect the other participants;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not to use expressions that incite violence, discrimination, obscenity and\/or defamation;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">avoid offensive, defamatory, vulgar content that violates privacy or is contrary to applicable law and advertising content or that has political\/ideological and religious content;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">avoid developing projects with clearly non-thematic content;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">do not violate copyright, trademarks or other rights reserved;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">comply with privacy rules;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you will not be able to request external support (e.g. via e-mail\/chat and gene messaging)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>11. PRIVACY POLICY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The personal data collected by the Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of managing the participation and conduct of the Hackathon must be truthful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recorded data will be included in a database owned by the organisation, pursuant to Personal Data Protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pursuant to the Law, the user declares his\/her authorisation in favour of the Chamber of Commerce so that it can send him information about his services, sponsors and collaborators, including by e-mail or by equivalent or similar means.
