Chemical batteries, such as lithium batteries, use critical materials, lose capacity over time, are expensive to manage and difficult to dispose of. And almost all systems accumulate only one form of energy, electrical or thermal.

The solution

GLES (Gas-Liquid Energy Storage), a patented compressed air system with a liquid piston: a liquid compresses the gas in a tank, the heat of the compression is stored and the expansion of the gas produces electricity again. Collects together electrical and thermal energy, without critical materials and with minimal maintenance; four sizes from 3.5 to 60 kWh.
