To the boys a cash prize of two thousand euros

Pescara, 21 November 2025 – The 2025 edition of Visionaria, the Adriatic Innovation Forum organised by the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce and its Development Agency. Three intense days of innovation, debate and creativity have transformed Abruzzo into a true laboratory of the future. An edition that, as President Strever pointed out in his final speech, showed that true innovation is born when corporates and start-ups, teachers and students, public and private, meet in the same place, truly dialogue and build together what is to come. The most awaited moment of the event was the Hackathon 2025, created with Aptar Italia Spa as its parent company. The challenge involved forty participants, divided into seven teams, called upon to design a digital solution capable of offering an interactive and educational experience on the theme of inclusivity within industrial production departments. For two and a half days, the groups worked tirelessly, supported by a comprehensive training programme that addressed topics such as inclusiveness, interactive solutions and artificial intelligence. First-placed Humanity Group, followed by Uptown Group, third-placed Coode. The sponsor, Aptar Italia Spa, was represented by Piero Coletti, director operational excellence digitalization, Daniela Paolini, manager of the assembly department, Claudio D’Addario, supervisor of the same department, together with Alessandro Trulli, digital operations manager, and Fabiana De Santis, analyst operational excellence digitalization. The work of the teams was evaluated by a jury composed of Gilda Antonelli from the University of Chieti-Pescara, Leonardo Pantoli from the University of L’Aquila, Manuel De Nicola from the University of Teramo, Pier Carmine Tilli from the Development Agency and Piero Coletti representing Aptar Italia. Supporting the participants throughout the course was the group of mentors coordinated by Melting Pro: Lucia Zappacosta, Arnaldo Guido, Angelo Bucci and Giulio Candeloro, accompanied by tutor Athena D’Orazio and project management manager Federica Pesce. The seven teams competing – Innovaaction, Phone By School, Humanity Group, Futurễ, UPtown, Coode and Inclusivoperte – took turns on stage for the final presentation, creating a high-quality competition, full of insights and concrete proposals. But the awards don't end there. On the final day of Visionaria 2025, which has been in partnership with SMAU, Europe’s largest business incubator, for three years, has awarded nine innovation awards to companies that have stood out for carrying out process or product projects: Almacis, Borghi In Rete, Ceteas, Comune Di San Giovanni Teatino, Comune Di Tortoreto, Lt Trasport, Metamer, Plaspharma, Rustichella D’Abruzzo.
