Visionaria 2025: presented the fifth edition of the Adriatic Forum on Energy, Innovation and Skills, organised by the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce and its Development Agency
Pescara, 17 November 2025 – It was presented this morning in the Sala Camplone of the Pescara Chamber of Commerce. Visionaria 2025, the Adriatic Forum dedicated to the dual energy and digital transition, scheduled from 19 to 21 November at the Pescara marina. Fifteen meetings, more than 85 speakers, more than 300 students, 48 participants in the hackathon and around 30 projects competing for the Prize Visionaria: These numbers confirm the event as one of the main events on innovation in Central Italy.
The 2025 edition of Visionaria embraces the major themes at the heart of economic and social transformation: energy, competitiveness, work, artificial intelligence, sustainability and digital security. The opening will be entrusted to the round table ‘Energy in transition, competitiveness in fall’, one of the most authoritative sessions ever hosted by the forum, with contributions from Minister Adolfo Urso, Vice-President of the European Parliament Antonella Sberna and Renato Loiero, parliamentary adviser to the Senate of the Republic, as well as the main representatives of the productive and academic world. On this occasion, the Polo Automotive Abruzzese will launch a strong appeal on the need to ensure sustainable energy conditions to protect a supply chain that employs over 12,000 people.
Great attention will be paid to the theme of skills, with the path developed by Randstad HR Solutions, which will offer experiential workshops aimed at young people and managers. The special guest will be Giacomo Sintini, a figure who symbolises resilience and leadership.
One of the main novelties of the fifth edition is Spazio Futuro, a hub entirely dedicated to new forms of work, digital marketing and artificial intelligence, as well as the protection of industrial property. A meeting place where the new brand positioning logics, the importance of patents and the strategies for protecting intangible assets will be explored.
On the morning of 20 November, dedicated to the Storie d’Alternanza e Competenze Award, the contest for the enhancement of the best school-work alternation courses will be introduced by the testimony of Ilenia Colanero, gold medalist at the Chengdu 2025 World Games. The afternoon will be animated by the Innovation Plenary, with speeches by some of the most authoritative Italian players in the relationship between technology, business and human capital: Giacinto Fiore and Pasquale Viscanti (creators of the largest European exhibition dedicated to artificial intelligence), Filippo Poletti, professional journalist and top voice of Linkedin, Antonio Baccari, partner of an important investment fund, Samuele Robbioni, sports psychopedagogist, Filomena Ferrara, director of the IBM Italy Foundation, and Andrea Biraghi, former mangaer of Leonardo Finmeccanica.
A relevant in-depth space will also be dedicated to cybersecurity, with a round table with the participation of experts such as Luisa Di Giacomo, Vincenzo Buttacchio and Fabio Fioravanti, moderated by Gianni Trovati of Il Sole 24 Ore. At the heart of the comparison is the impact of the NIS2 Directive and the new standards required of businesses to protect networks and data. The theme of sustainability will be addressed in the session dedicated to green business, with a comparison between researchers, consultants and entrepreneurs engaged in the construction of sustainable and competitive models for SMEs and production chains. The final day, November 21, will finally be dedicated to SMAU, partner for the third consecutive year of Visionaria It is organising a stop on its international roadshow aimed at finding the best stories of innovation, and at the hackathon organised in collaboration with Aptar Italia, a leader in the production of home and personal care dispensers. On the theme of sustainability also the gadgets of Visionaria: Along the lines of what they did last year, visitors will be waiting for unique artifacts made by the hands of men and women of the district institutions of Chieti and Vasto, who find in work a form of redemption for themselves and others of the damage caused. This latest initiative was strongly supported by the Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee in collaboration with the two associations for the prevention of gender-based violence, Alpha cooperative sociale and Dafne.
