Pescara, 20 November 2024 – The first day of the Adriatic Innovation Forum in the Marina di Pescara until 22 November ended. Announced the winners of the award Visionaria 2024.
To win the first prize of seven thousand euros for the best start-up company Exo Lab Italia. The prize for the best business idea, equal to three thousand euros, goes instead to Myconic. The winners will also receive the services offered by the Development Agency of the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce, such as participation in the SPRINT ‘Innovative start-ups’ accompanying programme and participation in the ‘Aspiring entrepreneurs’ programme.
Mentions, then, for best “Business project” to Heart Beat test; ‘Social Innovation’ at Trusty; ‘Environment or Technology 4.0’ at Spin Life; Female Entrepreneurship, Pan y Mar.
Ten are the characteristics of the projects evaluated by a jury composed of professionals, entrepreneurs and university professors, led by the member of the chamber of commerce Enrico Marramiero: satisfaction of a need; originality of the idea; value of technological content; feasibility of the project; potential for development; Adequacy of the team's skills; attractiveness of the target market; social sustainability; environmental sustainability; quality and completeness of the documentation.
The award ceremony took place on the first day of Visionaria, the Adriatic Forum dedicated to innovation and the energy and environmental transition, organised by the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce and the Development Agency, to be held at the Marina di Pescara tourist port until 22 November.

The winners of the ‘InnovAzioni’ contest (Confindustria Abruzzo Medio Adriatico), Oscar Green (Coldiretti), Cambiamenti (Cna), Startcup Abruzzo and, for the first time, the winners of the ‘Impresa in rosa: What a story!’ and ‘Business in pink: What an idea!’, organised by the Chamber’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee for eight consecutive years. To these, additional startuppers and aspiring entrepreneurs have been added precisely because they are interested in the award Visionaria.
In total twenty teams of talents who had three minutes each to present their idea. The secret to attracting investors is to prepare a good presentation that should: <<Clarify well which problem the project solves, who has this problem, what advantages it gives to solve it and why it is time to do it>>. To say it, Augusto Coppola is a partner of Cloud Accelerator, an investment vehicle for early-stage start-ups.
Visionaria opened this morning with the event’s godmother, Antonella Santuccione Chada, a neuropsychiatrist and founder of Women’s Brain, who studies gender’s impact on mental illness and wishes to open a precision medicine centre dedicated to gender’s impact on mental illness in Abruzzo. It continued with two round tables on energy transition and environmental sustainability with distinguished experts in the field: Alberto Geri – Full Professor of Electrical Systems for Energy at La Sapienza University; Roberto Spezie – Terna Spa technology manager; Stefano Cianciotta – CEO Fira Spa and technical expert at the European Committee of the Regions on the energy transition; Claudia Canevari – Head of Unit DG Energy – European Commission; Paolo Arrigoni – President of GSE Gestore dei Servizi Energia SpA; Edoardo Alesse – Rector of the University of L’Aquila; Ilaria Bertini – Director of ENEA’s Energy Efficiency Unit (DUEE); Antonio Romeo, General Manager of Dintec.
Tomorrow will continue with the Storie di alternanza award, which rewards the best work-related school alternation projects in the high schools of Chieti Pescara, and with panels in the afternoon dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on the public and businesses. Friday, however, will be the day of SMAU Abruzzo.
For the duration of the event, it will be possible to immerse yourself in VisionArt, an experiential area organised in collaboration with the production activities department of the Abruzzo Region, where equipment and experts are available to show how new technologies can be applied to the craft sector.
